Club representatives meet every Monday from noon-1 p.m. during fall, winter and spring term in the MHCC Board Room (located near the President's Office). For questions concerning student clubs and organizations at Mt. Hood Community College, contact the ASG Student Clubs and Organizations Representative at ASG.SOCrep@mhcc.edu or the Student Organizations Council (SOC) Staff Advisor at Rozina.Lethe@mhcc.edu.

    American Sign Language Club (ASL):

    To create a supportive environment where students and members of the community can gather together to practice and learn American Sign Language from each other at all skill levels. This club will also work to expand the knowledge of ASL and Deaf Cultural Awareness throughout the community. Email: ASL@mhcc.edu

    American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE):

    The ASSE will promote the advancement of the safety education and foster the professional well-being and development of its members within the campus and community. Email: ASSE@mhcc.edu

    Black Student Union (BSU):

    To connect with other students of African-American, African, Caribbean descent, or any other student of color. This club will also raise awareness of services/resources on campus and try to increase attendance of students of color to MHCC. Email: BSU@mhcc.edu

    Clay Club:

    The purpose of the Ceramics Club is to promote and organize ceramic workshop activities, promote field trips to further enrich our understanding of pottery. A ceramic sale will be held yearly as a fundraiser for the club. Email: clay.club@mhcc.edu

    Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA):

    Spectrum is a social, political, and support group which provides a wide variety of events & entertainment for students and staff of all sexual orientations. Email: spectrum@mhcc.edu

    Image Makers:

    The purpose of the club is to better prepare students for working in the field of Cosmetology. The club assists members in attending shows, events, and conferences outside of school, which shows them what to expect upon graduation. Email: imagemak@mhcc.edu

    Mental Health Club (MHSSAC):

    Their purpose is: To offer a place of support and networks for the MHHS students and to serve as a communication link to with educational and professional resources.

    Nihongo No Kurabu (Japanese Club):

    The purpose of the Japanese Club is to further Japanese studies through study groups, field trips, Japanese movies and cultural events, and to celebrate Japanese culture. Email: japanclu@mhcc.edu

    Northwest Collegiate Ministries (NCM):

    To serve and love individuals on the campus with the compassion that Jesus has for all. With the hope that others will see our good deeds and glorify God. Email: ncm@mhcc.edu. Club meetings held Wednesdays 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Jazz Cafe AC 2059.

    Student American Dental Hygienists Association (SADHA):

    The purpose shall be to cultivate, promote, and sustain the art and science of dental hygiene.

    Student Nurses Association (SNA):

    To aid in the preparation of nursing students for the assumption of professional responsibilities. Email: SNA@mhcc.edu

    Theatre Club:

    We do hereby declare, in fashion most formal, the intent and purpose of the Theatre Club: To promote the theatrical arts, and the talents, interests, and camaraderie of those within the club, the Performing Arts department, and the community in general. Email: theater.club@mhcc.edu

    Veterans Association:

    Connect with people with military experience and educate the MHCC campus on Veterans' issues. Also to increase awareness and understanding within the group and in the community as a whole. Email: veteranc@mhcc.edu
