  • The Automotive technology programs at Mt Hood Community College teach everything from basic maintenance procedures in the Maintenance and Light Repair program to the most complex engine performance diagnostic methods in our three two-year degree programs, the Ford ASSET, Chrysler MCAP, IMPORT and Subaru U automotive technology programs.

    Produced by Northwest Motorsports Association and presenting sponsor Weston Buick KIA GMC, Rockin' Round the Block is a fundraiser for the Mt. Hood Community College Automotive Technology Programs.  The event has raised $163,000 for student scholarships over the past 18 years.

    Chrysler Mopar College Automotive Program (MCAP)

    The Chrysler Mopar College Automotive Program (CAP) provides students with a unique opportunity to gain work experience while being trained as service technicians for Chrysler Corporation dealerships (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram).

    The Automotive Technology – Subaru U Associate of Applied Science Degree program provides students with a unique opportunity to gain work experience while being trained as service technicians for Subaru dealerships.

    Maintenance and Light Repair Automotive Technology Program

    The Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR) program is a nine-month automotive training curriculum with the goal of training individuals to be ready to step into "Express Service" maintenance and  light repair positions at dealerships and independent repair shops.
