Central Electrical Training Center

Central Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) is in the heart of the Willamette Valley, 90 miles south of Portland. Under the guidance of the JATC, the 30,000 square foot center trains people in all aspects of electrical construction. MHCC partners with them to offer rewarding apprenticeships.

Limited Energy Apprenticeships

Apprentices train to meet the requirements of a limited energy-a technician license. The test covers a wide range of low-voltage applications including voice, data, video, and alarms. Common applications also include nurse call, security, paging, multi-media, and fiber optic installations.

Residential Energy Apprenticeships

Through this program, apprentices earn a limited residential electrician license. This allows them to wire houses and apartments. This includes all parts of the dwelling from home theater to security and network cabling.
