How to Enroll
Mt. Hood Community College has an open-entry general admission policy and welcomes all students who can benefit from instruction regardless of their educational background. A high school diploma or GED are not required for enrollment at MHCC, but are required for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Most courses at MHCC require minimum prerequisites of RD090, WR090 and MTH020.
Students can verify they meet these prerequisites by one of 2 ways:
- take the College Placement Test and score beyond or equivalent to these skill levels.
- submit official college transcripts that validate prior coursework at or above these levels.
