AMD132 :  Automotive Electronics Theory I

In this course,students explore electrical and electronic circuit theory,operation and diagnostics. The application of electrical components in complex circuits, with the corresponding methods of diagnosis and repair is covered. This course includes instruction on the basics of semiconductors such as diodes, LED's, and transistors. Emphasis is on learning to use diagnost ic tools such as DMM's, Scantools and oscilloscopes.
Prerequisite: AMD120. Concurrent enrollment in AMD133 or instructor permission required.
