ECE161
Child Development: Ages and Stages
A chronological view of child development is presented by reviewing the major characteristics of each stage from infancy through primary age. Material is strongly grounded in theory and intended to present highlights of how children change throughout early childhood. Coursework is designed to provide a framework for appropriate guidance and curriculum decisions for teachers and parents of young children. Age-appropriate expectations are the focus.
