ECE245 :  Guidance Challenges

This course builds on information presented in ECE145 to enable the student to move beyond establishing rules and routines to analysis of children's behavior and individual circumstances. The overall goal is for beginning teachers to practice professional decision making grounded in developmentally appropriate practices. In addition, students are expected to develop strategies that support children's moral thinking and ability to resolve conflicts.
Prerequisite: ECE145, ECE236 and ECE261.
