Studying Japanese at MHCC

  • In Japanese classes at MHCC students learn all four skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing, right from the very first term of JPN101. All classes are highly interactive even when you are learning how to read and write. When JPN203 is completed successfully, students are well-rounded Japanese language learners who can communicate in basic Japanese language whether it is spoken or written.

There are Japanese language club and two cultural exchange programs that can provide some opportunities to explore culture of Japan. There is also a free tutoring service for all MHCC students by a very experienced native Japanese tutor. Visiting the Japanese tutor is one of the favorite things that the Japanese students do at MHCC.
