What kind of books are you looking for?

Books to borrow from college libraries:
Start by searching the MHCC Library Catalog to identify and locate books in the Mt Hood Community College library collection. You may borrow up to twenty items at a time. Stop by the reference desk or Ask a Librarian for help searching the catalog.
Search the Summit Catalog for books at other college libraries in the Pacific NW. MHCC faculty, students, and staff can use the "Request This Item" feature to have items sent to MHCC for you to pick up. Requested items are typically delivered to the MHCC Library within three school days.
You may also request Interlibrary Loan of materials from libraries outside of the Orbis Cascade Alliance.


Books to browse online:
The MHCC Library provides access to many electronic books available online. eBooks are accessible from any computer with an Internet connection.


Books to borrow from public libraries:
Search a public library's online catalog for popular novels, books in languages other than English, and other recreational reading. Public libraries are also a great resource for DVDs and other media.
Multnomah County Library has seventeen neighborhood branches, including Gresham Library
Clackamas County Library has thirteen neighborhood branches, including Sandy Public Library
As a resident of Clackamas, Multnomah, or Washington county, you're eligible for library borrowing privileges at any public library in the three-county metro area. Ask your local public library for details.
