I-BEST programs are certificate programs ideal for students new to college, GED completers, and non-native speakers of English. I-BEST programs quickly teaches students reading, writing, math, college readiness, and work skills so that students can successfully and efficiently move through school and into livable wage jobs.  Each program is three terms, the courses are offered in a block schedule designed to meet student need and are held on either the Gresham or Maywood Park campuses. All students learn together in one group/cohort for the entire program. Every student takes college-level courses that are team-taught by two instructors: a content-area instructor and an Adult Basic Skills instructor. Students will attend an I-BEST Support Class to build academic and study skills.
