Come prepared with supplies to the first class.

Cake Class Supply List

Tips:

  • Wilton 32/42 piece cake tip set or Ateco starter kit (Ateco tips = stronger metal)

Other Supplies:

  • 9 round cake per week
  • 10 round cake board at Michaels
  • * sheet cake board (2)
  • * Plastic icing scraper (1)
  • * Spatula (8 inch flat blade)
  • Turntable (Wilton plastic, or Rubbermaid works great or any turntable)
  • Icing comb
  • Plastic pastry bags (12 inch OR 14 inch-about 30)
  • Small paring knife
  • Thin blade serrated break knife for cutting a cake
  • Couplers (about 5)
  • Childrens scissors
  • Toothpicks
  • Food coloring (gel or Wilton styles)
  • Rose sticks
  • Waxed paper for leftover colored frosting
  • 6-8 small plastic containers (sour cream, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc.)
  • Box or bin for hauling supplies
  • Plastic bags for dirty dishes (10)

Optional: Apron (food coloring will stain clothes)

Bucket of frosting called Satin at Fred Meyer bakery (doesnt need refrigeration)
