These are the steps for you to register:
STEP 1:Complete the College Admission Form – the form is available online, in the Testing Center, the Academic Advising and Transfer Center and the Admissions and Records Office.
Please be aware that high school courses may not be used to satisfy minimum reading, writing or mathematics proficiency levels or to satisfy the prerequisites for reading, writing and mathematics courses.

If You are Taking Less Six Credits:
Students enrolling for less than 6 credits may register without taking a college placement test. However, the placement test (CPT) is required for part-time students enrolling in a writing, mathematics, chemistry or reading course. Please see the placement test schedule. All other part-time students may follow steps 1, 3, and 5 above.
All part-time students are welcome to seek academic advising.
Transfer Students
If you have completed an English Composition course AND a mathematics course, both with a grade of "C" or higher; please bring a copy of your transcript(s) to the Academic Advising and Transfer Center or fax to 503-491-7388 so the CPT requirement may be waived. Then proceed with steps 1, 4 and 5.
