The Student Activities Board is a group of students committed to planning and executing activities and events that benefit the students of MHCC. Student Activities Board members strive to keep the campus alive and the students involved in social environments.

Why Mt. Hood: because I love this school, it’s close to home, the classes are hands on and I love the student government here.
Why I chose to be a student leader: I have been in student council since I was in 7th grade. I plan to be an event planner when I grow up.
Each day on my way to MHCC: I jump in my car, (usually running a little late) blast my music and cruise all the way to school.
My iPod or Pandora playlist include: EVERYTHING, I love music
After MHCC, I plan to: Transfer to OSU and finish up my bachelors in business.

Why Mt. Hood: Because it is close to home
Why I chose to be a student leader: To help out my fellow students, and give back to my school. Also to apply my energies in a positive manner.
Each day on my way to MHCC: I take the bus, after a cup of coffee.
My iPod or Pandora playlist include: Fleetwood Mac, Metric, Florence and the Machine, no doubt.
After MHCC, I plan to: Transfer and get the proper credentials to become a teacher. Hopefully, thereafter, I will get a job I love, and paint on my time off.

Why Mt. Hood: I chose Mt. Hood because I knew that this college would give me a one on one communication with college professors, students and the community. AND MHCC has a beautiful campus!
Why I chose to be a student leader: I chose to be a student Leader because I love and enjoy helping others. I want to be a positive role model to those around me. And I find it very rewarding to be able to work with my peers and strive toward a common goal.
Each day on my way to MHCC: I listen to the radio or Pandora. I’m always excited to start a new day.
My iPod or Pandora playlist include: A little bit of everything; from pop and country music to romantic and classic music.
After MHCC, I plan to: I plan to transfer to PSU to obtain my MBA in Business Management.

Why I chose to be a student leader: I have been in student leadership since the 7th grade.  I love being part of a team!

After MHCC, I plan to: Go to Multnomah Bible College and study ministry. Once I graduate, I hope to get a job at a church and go to school for architecture.
