The defending Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) Champion Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Saints will return to action on February 28th at the Preseason Tournament in Richland, Washington.

The Saints have four-time NWAC Champions capped off a nearly perfect 2013-14 season by defeating the Clackamas Community College Cougars 4-2 to pick up their fourth championship in the last six years. The Saints finished the season with a 39-2 record and set a school record for the highest winning percentage.

The Saints were led by Teauna Hughes a two-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American and the school record holder in home runs (22) and NFCA All-Americans Kasidee Lemberger and Kristen Crawford.

Crawford and Ann-Marie Guischer provided an unstoppable duo on the mound keeping opposing teams off balance all season.

The 2015 team will be led by Lemberger and NWAC All-Tournament team members, SheaLee Lindsey and Chelsea Spanier.

MHCC  is coached by the reigning NWAC Coach of the Year, Meadow McWhorter and assistant coaches Amanda Bunch, Amy Greenough and Ricky McWhorter.
