AVID - AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a national program in which participating schools work together to help students reach their academic and life goals. The primary goal of the AVID Center at MHCC is to provide resources to students to help them achieve their educational and career goals, and to offer educational tools and trainings to faculty to assist them in creating highly engaging classes.

TRIO - TRIO Student Support Services is a federally funded grant program that has been serving students at MHCC since Fall 2001. It is designed to provide academic and ancillary support to low-income students, first generation college students, and students with disabilities.
