Education: Master’s of Business Administration in Marketing, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and an Associate of Science degree. I’ve worked for MHCC since 2008!
Best place to hang out on campus: The Visual Arts Gallery, the Library, the patio next to the Jazz Café (when the weather’s right)
Favorite food or restaurant: sushi, Mexican, hummus & pita
My #1 tip for new students is… plan your classes ahead of time with your adviser. Also visit the Learning Success Center for tutoring help from the very beginning! They can help you with not only homework, but also time management skills, note-taking, and conquering procrastination!

Summer, Orientation Center Assistant
Education: Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy, Graduate Certificate in Student Affairs in Higher Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education. I began my education adventure at a community college where I received the support and encouragement needed to achieve my goals.

Favorite food or restaurant: Pizza!
My #1 tip for new students is…Take advantage of the many resources available on campus! Visit the Career Planning & Counseling Center to explore career options, see an Academic Adviser to plan a schedule that will help you reach your goals, and check-out the Learning Success Center for tutoring services. Talk with your instructor if you have questions—they want to see you succeed! Keep believing in yourself. You can do this!

I decided to go to MHCC because… it’s what I could afford - I got into the Future Connect scholarship program!
My #1 tip for new students is… find something you love to be involved with.
After MHCC, I plan to… transfer to Pacific University to get a Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene.

My #1 tip for new students is… Always take down one person’s info in every class in case of emergency.
After MHCC, I plan to… transfer to a 4-year when I figure out what I want to major in.

After MHCC, I plan to… Hopefully take a trip abroad before starting a full time job.
