Supervisory Management for the Hospitality Industry
This course enables hospitality and tourism students to learn skills necessary for effective supervision and use them in their work situations. Self-development, role of the supervisor, management and leadership skills are a focus. Also, communication, decision making, planning, controlling, team building, time management and staff development comprise the course. Curriculum for this class is designed around actual experiences and current examples of effective management supervision.
