PTA251 :  Clinical Applications I

The focus is an introduction to the clinical learning environment and on the development of skills to self-advocate for student learning in the clinical setting. The course also enables the student to apply relevant professional values and ethical principles to a difficult patient encounter or challenging situation in the clinical setting.
Prerequisite: All first-year PTA coursework through spring term. Concurrent enrollment in PTA261 is required.
