RB150 :  Broadcasting I

This class serves as an introduction to the concept of radio communication and helps provide an understanding of radio performance and control room operation. The history of broadcasting, the technical and social aspects of broadcasting and how current conditions are affecting broadcast technology and trends are covered.
Prerequisite: RD090, WR090 and MTH020, each with a grade of "C" or better; or placement above stated course levels. Open to all students who register for all required fall term courses: RB150, J216, IM120, IM122, IM123, IM124, IM125 and IM178.
