Mt. Hood Community College Presents Student Art Exhibit

The Annual Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Visual Arts Juried Student Exhibit will be held May 11 – June 8 on the Gresham Campus, 26000 SE Stark Street.
This highly anticipated exhibition represents the outstanding work of MHCC students in the following categories: ceramics, drawing, printmaking, painting, jewelry/metals, sculpture, 2- and 3-D design, digital art, watercolor and calligraphy. Featured artwork was completed in MHCC visual arts courses during the 2010-11 academic year and was juried by the MHCC visual arts faculty. The show provides students with valuable exhibition experience and the opportunity to receive feedback from their peers, professional artists and the public.
The public is invited to attend the opening gala reception, May 12, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Visual Arts Gallery. Awards will be presented at 12:30 p.m. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; closed weekends and holidays.
