MHCC Invites Students to Orientation Day, Sept. 22
Posted: September 13
Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) is committed to helping students succeed – that’s why the College is holding New Student Orientation Day, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Sept. 22, on the Gresham Campus. Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. in the gymnasium (enter on 17th Street). Parking is free.
“We encourage all students – new students, in particular – to attend Orientation at least once while enrolled at MHCC,” says Sydney Eustrom, manager of student outreach and high school services. “Students will have the opportunity to tour the Gresham campus and connect with other students, as well as meet student leaders, faculty and staff. It’s a great time to hear about academic programs and campus resources. Also, there will be a free lunch, door prizes and more.”
Following Orientation, the Bookstore will hold an Open House, 1 – 3 p.m., with tours and door prizes. The College Center will hold an ice cream social, 1 – 4:30 p.m., while students are getting photos taken for their MHCC activity card.
Individuals requiring accommodations due to a disability should contact the MHCC Disability Services Office at 503-491-6923 or 503-491-7670 (TDD). Please call at least two weeks prior to the event to ensure availability.
