Are Zombies Good Volleyball Players?
Come to the Dorian Harris Tournament and Find Out!

Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) will host the annual Dorian Harris Halloween Classic volleyball tournament Oct. 28 and 29, on the Gresham Campus, 26000 S.E. Stark St. Come watch zombies and other colorful characters (on Saturday) as they manage to dig, set and spike competitively.

The event begins with pool play on Friday at 2 p.m., followed by a 10-team double elimination series on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.  On Saturday, all teams will be dressed in Halloween costumes.

MHCC volleyball coach Chelsie Speer says, “It is a hoot!  Last year, there were teams of avatars, mimes, elves and even a group of ‘Thriller’ zombies with their own mini Michael Jackson. This event is a ton of fun with a lot of great volleyball!”

Tickets: Adult two-day pass, $10; adult one-day pass, $6; students two-day pass, $5; student one-day pass, $3; seniors/military two-day pass, $4; seniors/Military, one-day pass, $2; children under 12, two-day pass $2 and one-day pass, $1. Parking is free both days.
