‘Taking Yourself from Stuck to Unstoppable’
a New Non-credit Class at MHCC
Posted December 21, 2012
A new, non-credit class at Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) will teach you to “Take Yourself from Stuck to Unstoppable.”
Taught by Linda Binns, an England native and “life-energy” mentor, the class will help students to open their eyes to the endless possibilities in their own lives, and to take on the world. Topics include financial situations, relationships, health, business and career ruts.
“This is a class that can help you achieve the life you have always wanted,” says Binns. “We will touch on how to free yourself from the rut you can’t seem to escape from.”
Having mentored and taught for more than 18 years, she coined the phrase “stuck to unstoppable” and has found that “when people become unstuck, they can really go on and be unstoppable.”
“Take Yourself from Stuck to Unstoppable” will be offered Feb. 6, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Gresham Campus, 26000 SE Stark Street. Regular cost is $29; seniors receive a $10 discount. Parking on all MHCC campuses is free, all days, all times.
You may register for non-credit classes via fax (503-491-7390), phone (503-491-7572), online http://my.mhcc.edu or mail (call for a registration form or pick one up from the winter 2013 issue of College + Community magazine/class schedule). For questions about registering for non-credit classes, please call 503-491-7572.
Binns also taught a class in November at MHCC, “It’s Not about the Stuff,” which she will again teach Feb. 13.
