MHCC Showcases Student Artwork May 12 – June 5

The Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Visual Arts department will showcase student artwork in a juried exhibit, May 12 – June 5.
This highly anticipated show spotlights the very best student accomplishments in the following areas: ceramics, drawing, life drawing, printmaking, jewelry/metals, sculpture, 2-D and 3-D design, digital, watercolor and calligraphy. Featured artwork was completed in MHCC Visual Arts courses during the 2013-14 academic year and provides the opportunity for student artists to gain exhibition experience and receive feedback from fellow students, professional artists and the public.

A reception will be held May 15 in the Visual Arts Gallery, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; closed weekends and holidays.
