Tuesday, Nov. 10, the Mt. Hood Community College Saints Volleyball Team finished their Southern Region play against Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Ore. They beat the Chemeketa Storm three times, 25-20, 25-17 and 25-19. The Saints are now undefeated Southern Region Champions! They will now turn their focus to preparation for the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) Championship Tournament, which will be held at the MHCC Gresham Campus Thursday, Nov. 19 through Saturday, Nov. 21. The Saints first match will be Thursday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m. Their opponent will be the #4 seed from the East, currently undecided because of a tie in the Eastern Region.
