Admission RequirementsMHCC students must take appropriate placement tests prior to class registration. At the same time, MHCC students will be conditionally admitted to PSU for up to eight credit hours per term. Students who take more than eight credit hours per term at PSU must meet PSU admission requirements of:
Students are advised to complete the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree or the lower division credit requirements for their program area to achieve junior-level status at the time of transfer to PSU. The AAOT requires a minimum of 93 transfer credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or above. MHCC students should submit an evaluation request to review classes taken at PSU that will apply toward this degree. Evaluation of residency status as well as PSU application and matriculation fees and any other state requirements will take place at the time students transition to PSU on a full-time basis.
