Head Coach - Bryan Donohue
Bryan Donohue is entering his first year as the head coach of the saints. Donohue was a graduate of Sam Barlow High School of Gresham, Oregon, where he was an all-state player for Steve Stebbins (son of MHCC assistant Dale Stebbins) and the Bruins. As a member of the 2005 Southern Regional champion Mt. Hood saints, Donohue received 1st team all-region honors in addition to a 2nd team all NWAACC award as an outfielder. He continued onto George Fox University where he was an all Northwest Conference first baseman and a 2nd team All-West Region selection during both of his seasons at GFU playing for current Oregon State assistant coach, Pat Bailey. In 2006, He was a first team All-regional tournament selection and in 2007 was voted as a 2nd team All-American by DIII Baseball.com. Bryan currently holds the all-time career batting average record at George Fox University. Bryan Graduated with honors from George Fox with a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in marketing.
Immediately following his playing career, Donohue became the head coach of the Gresham Mountaineers summer collegiate baseball team, an affiliate of the Corvallis Knights (of the WCCBL), who Donohue played for in 2006. They finished 28-8 in their inaugural season.

Assistant Coach - James Allan
James Allan will be entering his first year as Mt. Hood’s assistant coach in 2008. Allan has recently finished his bachelor degree, in English, at the University of Portland. Allan is a Gresham native and attended Barlow High School where he played football, basketball, and baseball. While at Barlow, James played baseball under Steve Stebbins and was awarded Mt. Hood Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-State honors. After Barlow, he played the 2004 season at the University of Washington under Ken Knutson and Joe Ross. In 2005, Allan left Washington and returned to Gresham to play for Gabe Sandy, Matt Dorey, Dale Stebbins, Darold Ellison and the Mt. Hood Saints. While at Mt. Hood, the Saints captured the southern region title and finished one game shy of winning the 2005 NWAACC championship. During the 2005 season James received First Team All-Southern division and First Team All-NWAACC honors, as well as being named to the NWAACC All-Tournament Team and the NWAACC All-Academic Team. Following Allan’s stint with the saints, James furthered his education and baseball career at the University of Portland under Chris Sperry, Matt Hollod, and Larry Casian. Allan played two years for Sperry at Portland and received First Team All-WCC honors his senior season. In the summer of 2007 Allan made the transition to coaching when he joined Bryan Donohue, as Donohue’s assistant, running the up and coming Gresham Mountaineer Baseball club. The Mountaineers are the sole affiliate of the WCCBL’s Corvallis Knights. The Knight’s were also host to Allan as a player in 2006 and for a short time in 2005.
