It provides unofficial GED practice tests that are designed to help you plan how to use the GED Connection learning activities, either regularly broadcast on OPB or on this site. The interactive activities included on this site are titled Online Learning Modules, structured courses and internet activities, developed to improve your skills and knowledge of the GED tests.
http://www.4tests.com 4tests.com titles itself the "leading free, online, practice testing portal on the internet." One must first establish an account in order to take the practice tests. This account enables the student to view the progress one has made and to continue an exam that was not finished. This also allows the site to advertise and make offers that one might refuse.
http://www.gedpractice.com Gedpractice.com is a free service provided by Steck-Vaughn to familiarize you with the types of items you will see on the actual GED test. Steck-Vaughn is one of the leading companies producing GED study curriculum, including: textbooks, workbooks, and software. The registration does require supplying a telephone number.
http://www.adulted.about.com/cs/ged This site provides information and resources for students and teachers including GED preparation products and services. This site supplies links to all sorts of GED sites.
http://free-ed.net/free-ed/GED This online, free course consists of 74 study units presented over a 24-month cycle. This site is different in that it is much more comprehensive than other sites and is more focused on learning rather than testing.

All links provide either download for classroom use or student interactivity with an activity that relates to GED skills.
