Access to licensed databases is available only to MHCC staff and students. Research assistance is available from the Reference Desk during most of the Library's open hours, and online via our Ask a Librarian service.

| Video Services for Faculty, Administrators and Staff: MHCC Library offers a wide variety of media for classroom use. The newest service we offer is a subscription to Netflix .
Faculty may reserve videos from the Library collection by contacting Patti Allen, Library Technical Assistant, with your selection list. To maximize chances of availability, make your request early in, or before, the start of each term. Fill out the Netflix reservation form or contact Patti Allen at 503-491-6974.
Do you need to place a last minute video reservation? Check the library catalog for availability and then visit us for quick checkout.
If the Library does not have the video you want in its collection, try Summit or our Netflix Service.

Library Instruction: Professional librarians provide faculty and students with instruction in using the library catalog, databases, and the Library's print and electronic resources.
- Library instruction classes can be designed and scheduled in consultation with the Instructional Librarian, Anna Johnson to meet the particular needs of your students. These sessions can involve both demonstration and hands on activities. Such instruction is most meaningful to the students when done in connection with a specific course related activity. Please consult with the Instructional Librarian well in advance of the time you want to schedule the session. A library instruction request form is available for you to fill out online, requesting instruction for your class.
