Youth Worker Certificate

This program is designed for people entering the youth worker profession. A one-year sequence of course work that include courses offered during the day, on weekends and some evenings, students can attend full time or part-time.

Students completing the certificate seek employment or are already employed in residential care, some recreational and community programs, community justice and addiction programs.
 
Program courses meet the needs of the youth worker apprenticeship programs throughout the state of Oregon.

Course work can be applied towards the associate of applied science degree in Mental Health/Human Services.
