Machine Tool Technology
The following tools are required for training. The tools on the list represent a basic job entry requirement, some jobs may require more but few require less. Students should have these tools soon as possible. We encourage students to buy quality precision tools that should last a lifetime, anything less may not satisfy accuracy requirements or have a short life expectancy. Our advisory committee strongly suggests students have their own tools and learn to care for them properly.
The prices below are estimates to get these prices shopping around will be necessary. No single source may be able to provide these tools at these prices. If you are going to a single source expect to pay a slightly higher price for some of the items. CAUTION!!! Check with instructor before altering brands or items.
