Weekly UpdateSophomore Sammie Clark from Redmond, set a new single game scoring mark last night as the MHCC girls defeated Portland CC, 84-58. Sammie poured in 40 points hitting 18 of 24 FG attempts and four of nine FTs. In addition, she grabbed 16 rebounds. The old record was 38 points, set in 1994. Learn more about the MHCC Saints Womens Basketball Program on their page on the MHCC website. In Mens action, the Saints edged the Panthers, 74-70 in an exciting finish. The men were led by Pierre Calloway and Mike Wohlers with 21 and 20 points respectively. Both teams play at Southwestern CC in Coos Bay this Saturday.
