Independent Study Options
The following courses can be taken in an Independent Study format. Independent Study format involves a mandatory orientation at the beginning of the term; after this orientation students work at their own pace during the course of a quarter using the syllabus and study guide. The material is divided into five units (usually) and a test is required at the end of each unit. Often there are a few writing assignments as well. Students have access to instructors for assistance, but there are no formal meetings required (other than the orientation).
