Head Coach Larry Davis enters his fifth season at Mt Hood. He has coached for14 years both at the collegiate and high school level. He comes from Concordia University, where he spent three years as an assistant coach on the mens side. Previous to Concordia, he was an assistant coach at La Salle High School in Milwaukie Oregon and an administrative assistant at Portland State University. He has also been a clinician at numerous summer camps and schools. Outside of Mt Hood, Coach Davis is also the Co-Director of the Club Sport Basketball Academy in Tualatin. As the Director, he is in charge of running basketball academies, camps, clinics and individual skill development.
Coach Davis is a 2002 graduate from Portland State University where he earned a Bachelors in Communications and a Minor in Psychology. He lives in SE Portland with his wife, Jennifer and five children, Dominic, Josiah, Isabella (D), Christian and Gabrielle.

Rosie Contri
Assistant Coach - Mt. Hood Community College

Assistant coach Rosie Contri is in her 2nd season with the Mt Hood basketball program. Contri has been instrumental in teaming with head coach Larry Davis to build Mt Hood into an unquestioned NWAACC power. She is the recruiting coordinator for Oregon and Nevada.

Rosie is a 2003 graduate of Willamette University in Eugene Oregon. At Willamette, Rosie was a 4 year starter at the PG position. She went on to complete her bachelors degree in Sociology. After Willamette, she went on to play professional basketball in Leverkusen, Germany.

Outside of Mt Hood, Rosie is head clinician at The Hoop in Beaverton. My love of the game continues to grow each day and now have the ability to give back to younger players; teaching them what I didnt know at their age.

Rosie is a great skills coach with tremendous knowledge for the game. Ive truly have enjoyed working with her and appreciate all the sacrifice that she makes for our program.

Mike Smith
Student Adminstrative/Sports Information Assistant

Student administrative assistant Mike Smith, Enters his 2nd season with the Saints Basketball Team. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in Portland, Oregon in June of 2006, where he was a two sport athlete. Currently a student at Mt Hood Community College, Mike graduated with a degree in Radio Broadcast.

He has also been assisting with recruiting for multiple Mt. Hood teams, as well as developing media strategy, fund raising programs, and community outreach opportunities for the teams. On campus he is the Afternoon Drive DJ and the color commentator for Women's Basketball and the Saints Softball teams.

After graduation Mike spent time in the Portland radio market working for big stations but was offered a position on student government and returned to Mt. Hood. While on student government Mike increased school pride instating the student cheering section, increased attendance at all Mt. Hood athletic events, and contemplated running for Student Body President. That position has led him to this point of wanting to work with student-athletes.
