COMPUTER USERS’ PRIVILEGES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The MHCC data and voice networks shall be managed in such a manner as to provide reasonable security of information being transmitted or maintained on those networks.
The MHCC data and voice networks shall be subject to the prevailing U.S. Federal Government regulations and state and local regulations pertaining to data and data communications. In conjunction with these regulations any other MHCC policy or regulation which applies to paper or other transfer media shall also apply to electronic data.
Each employee assigned to assist with the operation of college computers is required to observe office procedures for data security and confidentiality of records.
