Four Week Program in Field Biology and Spanish in Costa Rica

Spend two weeks in Alajuela, Costa Rica learning Spanish in a small group setting. Live with a middle class Costa Rican family. Earn one term of college transfer Spanish in two weeks. Then move to Ecolodge San Luis near the Monteverde cloud forest for a week to study plant and animal ecology in one of the most verdant and fecund biological sites in the world. The final week is on the Pacific Coast at Cabo Blanco is a biological research open only to researchers and students. Learn about dry tropical forest environments; snorkel and observe marine species in their natural habitat. Live in a thatched palapa right on the beach. Earn elective credits in field biology and ecology. Cabo Blanco on the Pacific Ocean
