Rho Theta Graduation Letter

Dear Potential Graduate,
Congratulations on earning a degree or certificate from Mt. Hood Community College. According to our records you are a member of Rho Theta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. You may want to order honors regalia to wear at the graduation ceremony.

Am I eligible to wear honors regalia? Phi Theta Kappa members whose cumulative grade point average is 3.0 or higher may wear the wide gold honors stole ($18), the gold tassel ($10) and the Phi Theta Kappa key medallion ($22).

Am I eligible to wear honor cords? You may wear the double honor cords ($13) only if your Mt. Hood Community College cumulative grade point average is 3.65 or higher as of the end of winter quarter.

How can I order regalia? You may purchase these items directly from the Recognitions portion of the Phi Theta Kappa website, www.ptk.org or you may order through Rho Theta chapter and save money on shipping. (Rho Theta charges $5 per order shipping and handling no matter how much the order is.) Rho Theta is a student-run organization, so office hours are limited, but the desk will be staffed additional hours the week of April 28-May 2 for regalia sales. We will be taking orders and payments at these times.

Regalia will be presented during the induction ceremony recognizing new members. It will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 29 in the Town and Gown room. Friends and family members are invited to attend the induction and presentation of regalia.
