A History of Breaking Records

While attending Mineral County High School in Hawthorne Nevada, Amber Glunt began her Track & Field career on a dirt track. As a junior in high school Amber broke the 400 Meter 2A Nevada State Record with a time of 58.98 seconds.
Now a Saint of Mt Hood, Glunt continues to break records. While participating in the NWAACC Multi-Event Championships, she ran the fastest 200m time in NWAACC heptathlon history. After competing in three previous events she concluded the first day of a two day competition by running 25.32 seconds in the 200m and setting a new NWAACC Heptathlon 200 Meter Record.

Amber’s goal for herself, during her freshman year of college, was to run the 400m in 58.00 seconds. Not only did she shatter her Personal Record and her goal, she also set a new Mt Hood 400 Meter School Record by running 56.00 seconds. Glunt is currently the NWAACC leader in the 200m, 400m and 400m Intermediate Hurdles as well as a member of the NWAACC leading 4x100m and 4x400m Relays.
