The Center helps students research and select career goals, and assists students seeking employment. Computers are available for career and jobs research.
HD 208 (3 credits) and HD 110 (1 credit) Career Planning classes
These courses provide career and life-planning guidance designed to teach students the life-long process for choosing or changing careers. The courses include researching oneself, researching careers and assessing career options, and decision-making skills. Students learn how to make educational or training plans to support their career choices, conduct informational interviews and develop career portfolios. The one-credit option includes workshops, assignments and individual meetings with instructors.

HD 209INT Interviewing Techniques 1 credit classes
These 1-credit classes help you locate job opportunities, develop a resume, and prepare for job interviews. Independent Study Option for students who can study independently. The courses are HDLIS 209, HDRIS 209, HDIIS 209 or HDIS 209. These courses cover the same material, but the student works independently with the instructor to complete the work.
