I was told my insurance only covers a few counseling sessions. What do I do?
Many insurance companies now limit the number of counseling sessions they cover, and have unrealistic expectations about how long it takes to improve your mental health and feel better. Talk to your therapist about other things you can do to get better once your sessions are over. Your therapist may be able to request additional visits as well, depending on the circumstances.
