KATIE OATES (PG/SG) Mt. Hood Signs West Valley Standout
Katie Oates, a 2009 graduate from West Valley High School in Fairbanks Alaska
has signed a letter of intent to play for the Saints next season! Katie is
a three year starter for West Valley, where she earned 1st team league honors
and honorable mention all-state as a senior. Katie is a four sport athlete,
competing in cross country, track & field and soccer.
We are truly enthused about the opportunity of having Katie join the Mt Hood
program. She is a very skilled combo guard who has the versatility to play 3
positions. She has the ability to run the team or slide to the wing and stretch
the defense with her shooting range. Coach Davis
EMILY BANDO (PG) Gig Harbor Point Guard Signs Letter of Intent!
Emily Bando, a 2009 graduate from Gig Harbor High School in Gig Harbor, Washington
has signed a letter of intent to play for Mt Hood next season. Emily has
been at helm for three seasons. Emily earned 1st team league honors as a
senior.
Emily is a true point guard in every sense of the word; she is a remarkable
floor leader with ability to play both sides of the floor. We expect big things
from her this season. Coach Davis
JACKI CUNNINGHAM Signs with Northwest Christian College
 Sophomore F Jacki Cunningham signs letter of intent to play at Northwest Christian
University for Coach Liz Bolton! "Jacki's tenure at Mt. Hood has been phenomenal,
she was a stand out player breaking records and contributing to the strength
of the program" said Coach Davis "I know she'll do great things at
the next level and I wish her the best." (Cunningham is the All-Time leader
in Blocked Shots and FT%).
