About eBooks: Electronic versions of published books (known as eBooks or e-books) are accessible from any computer with an Internet connection, allowing users to access a books content from anywhere at any time. See below for access to the MHCC Library's collections of eBooks. You may also want to conduct an Advanced Search of the Library Catalog, where you can limit the Material Type to E-Books. If you have any questions or would like more information about eBooks, please Ask a Librarian.

Helpful Hints:

	Many eBooks are limited to one user at a time; if you cannot connect, wait a few minutes then try again.
	To access eBooks from off-campus, you will be asked to enter your last name and MHCC identification number. If you have problems, please refer to our Off-Campus Access Guide.

What kind of electronic books are you looking for?

eBooks for research

	ebrary contains over 18,000 titles covering all academic subject areas.
	NetLibrary eContent Collection contains over 3,000 titles covering many subject areas.
	Safari Books Online contains over 100 technology titles, including many computer software manuals.
	You can also search for and access eBooks with an Advanced Search in the MHCC Library Catalog (set the Material Type to E-Books).

eBooks for reference

	Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia also includes four different almanacs.
	AccessScience features fully searchable content from the Encyclopedia of Science & Technology (10th edition).
	Oxford English Dictionary is the complete text of the second edition, including all updates.
	Oxford Reference Online Premium is a comprehensive and authoritative collection of language and subject reference works.
