We hire peer, para-professional, and professional tutors year-round to tutor a variety of subjects. All tutors complete a nationally recognized tutor certification program and receive on-going training and support. Requirements include a 3.0 GPA in the tutoring content area, a 3.0 GPA overall, letters of recommendation from instructors of the tutoring content area, and an interview with Sharon Juenemann, Director. Writing and math tutors also complete a content area skills assessment.
We seek tutors with confidence and skill in their content area, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a genuine desire to help others succeed!
