The TRIO College First project is funded by a renewable grant from the U.S Department of Education. The project office is located on the third floor of the college library in room #3331.
The mission of the TRIO College First project is to identify eligible youth with the potential for postsecondary education and encourage them to complete high school and enroll in the college or university of their choice.
The purpose is to identify, select, and deliver educational, career and cultural services to six hundred students from grade 6 through 12 who are from low income families and whose parents have not graduated from college.
