Emergency Loans for MHCC Students


The Financial Aid Office can provide MHCC students with small, short-term loans to help with educational expenses. Students who meet at least one of the criteria listed below are eligible to apply for an emergency loan:

  • Awarded financial aid for the current term and the money has not yet been disbursed.
  • Received notification of loan eligibility from the financial aid office and all loan documents completed and submitted.
  • Financial aid file reviewed and waiting for a correction to arrive from the processor.
