The faculty and staff of MHCC are always available to assist you and are looking forward to helping you MHCC is experiencing an increase in enrollment for fall term and parking may be problematic at times. The College has ample, free parking but spots closest to the Academic Center fill up fast. Always give yourself extra time to get to class. Better yet, find a friend and carpool to campus. There are many conveniently located permit-only carpool spaces. For carpool permit information, visit the College Center or call 503-491-7277. Avoid parking altogether and consider riding Tri-Met. Several buses serve the College campus. Monthly bus passes can be purchased in the Bookstore. MHCC is also bicycle-friendly, with bicycle racks located throughout the campus. If there is an emergency and you need assistance, a Public Safety officer is available by dialing 33 from any campus phone. To dial from a cell phone, the number is 503-491-7310. If you haven't purchased your textbooks, head to the Bookstore. During the first week of term the Bookstore has extended hours, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Other useful services include, computer labs and food services. If you need assistance with coursework, the Learning Success Center has tutors available in a variety of subjects. If you need a relaxing place to stay between classes, drop by the College Center.
