  • USA Funds
    Hundreds of scholarships for low income students.
    50% of awards go to minority and/or disabled students. Deadline: March. Available for part time and full time students with up to $6,000 continuous support if academic requirements are maintained. usafunds.org

  • Minority Internship

Latino Students

  • Hispanic Scholarship Fund
    The college scholarship program is available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students of Hispanic heritage. Deadline: October. Contact info: WWW.HSF.NET

  • Mexican American Grocers Association
    Scholarships for financially disadvantages Hispanics who are pursuing business-related studies. Deadline: August. Amount: $500 - $1,500. Questions: call Jackie Solis, 323-227-1565 or 323-227-6935.

  • U.S. Hispanic Chamber Of Commerce Scholarship
    Ten awards are available based on academic achievement, personal contributions to the Hispanic community, and financial need. Amount: $1,000. Deadline: July 20.   • League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC)
    LULAC offers a number of scholarship opportunities for Hispanic students such as the Starr Foundation/LULAC Scholarship, the Kraft/LULAC Scholarship program, and the LULAC National Scholarship Fund.   • Oregon Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarships
    The local Hispanic Chamber of Commerce offers a set of scholarships for Latino students in Oregon each year. This includes multiple scholarships, but only requires one application form. Most of them require legal residency, but everyone may apply. The applicant may leave the question blank on legal status and residency if needed. Native American Students

    Indian Health Services offers several scholarships for American Indian/ Alaskan Native students who are pursuing a career in the Health Professional field. You must have proof of tribal enrollment to be eligible.     The pride foundation offers a variety of scholarships to gay & lesbian students in Oregon, with a special focus on people of color and students who have done volunteer or leadership work.
