Course Materials on Reserve

The MHCC Library does not purchase textbooks, but many instructors place copies of required course materials “on reserve” in the Library. The Library works with instructors to make these materials available to students.

To find out if your course materials are on reserve:

	Search by your course number (i.e. HD100)
	If you don't know your course number, look it up in the schedule of classes .
	If you don't know what materials are required for your course, visit the MHCC Bookstore.

To borrow a reserve item:

	Copy down the library catalog call number (i.e. LB2343.3 .D69 2005) for the reserve item you need
	Take the call number to the library Check-out Desk, where reserve materials are held

Most reserve materials check out for two hours. These materials must be used in the Library.
