AUT5AM Advanced Motorcycle Rider Course

Learn to Ride Like a Cop. Nationally recognized instructional techniques used to train police motor officers across the country are now available to civilian riders. This intensive 42 hour class develops rider coordination, balance, skill and confidence, enabling you to ride with the safety and efficiency enjoyed by police motor officers. This course combines the key elements of throttle, clutch and brake with head/eye placement for precise control of the motorcycle. Students are immersed in braking obstacle avoidance and precision riding techniques. Completion criteria are identical to those used to certify motor officer competency, which results in the ability to make full lock turns, aggressively brake and take counter measures to avoid being run over by the following traffic. The school provides ex-police motorcycles for student use.
