Ask a Librarian

How to Ask a Librarian

  • Be as complete as possible when asking a question. The more specific you are, the more likely that the information you receive from us will be what you are looking for.
  • We can provide reference assistance, library instruction, and answer brief questions for you. For more complex or detailed questions, you may be asked to speak directly with a reference librarian.
  • We will make every attempt to answer questions within 24 hours. Questions submitted over weekends will be addressed Mondays, excluding holidays. Questions submitted during breaks between school terms will not be responded to until the beginning of the next term.
  • Questions will be responded to by email or telephone.
  • All questions are confidential.
